Abstract：Under the background of highspeed globalization, countries and regions characterized by both socialism and capitalism are becoming a community with a shared future. In the viewpoint of historical materialism, the formation of this situation is essentially related to changes in the distribution pattern and development tendency of capital accumulation and poverty accumulation in the process of globalization. It is not only the realistic basis for the understanding of the great deviations from classical writers’ visions on political and economic situation of the world, but also the basic starting point for our understanding of contradictions in the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind. A comprehensive analysis of the formation mechanism and internal limit of a community with a shared future for mankind in the era of globalization will help us to draw the conclusion that we must further enhance our ability and level of openingup, build a platform for telling China’s stories well, promote the reform of global governance system, enhance the supply capacity of global public goods, and consolidate our own strategic defense force in order to better implement the great vision of building a community with a shared future for mankind.
