Abstract
Having witnessed a sustained and rapid rise, Chinas diplomatic relationship with other developing countries is facing growing challenges, especially in terms of economic interests, political identity, and political influence. Since the 18th National Congress of the CPC, the Party Central Committee, with General Secretary Xi Jinping as the leadership core, has developed guiding principles of “common development, common destiny, and sharing dignity” for Chinas diplomatic relations with other developing countries. Based on which, China has developed more detailed tactics and policy tools to deal with aforementioned challenges, namely to uphold justice while pursuing shared interests and global partnership for diminishing interest challenge, to build strategic reassurance network for resolving identity challenge, and to explore ability-power conversion mechanism for responding to influence challenge. Looking ahead to the future, theory and practice of Chinas diplomatic relations with other developing countries will move forward in pace with the development of China, other developing countries and international system, promoting the development of the theory and practice on national diplomacy into a new era.

Abstract
In September 2017, during the mission of circumArctic scientific expedition, the R.V. Xuelong (Snow Dragon) completed Chinas first transit through the Northwest Passage and practiced relevant laws and regulations concerning the regime of transit application, ice navigation and route planning. The voyage accumulates rich experience for Chinas future utilization of the Northwest Passage for scientific and commercial purposes. At the current stage, the transit traffic through the Northwest Passage remains limited, which is largely subject to severe natural conditions, high costs of pilotage and icebreaking services, inadequate infrastructures and emergencyresponse capacities as well as Canadas concerns over the openingup of the passage. The future development of the Northwest Passage will be highly dependent on demands of resources exploration and infrastructure construction along the waterways. The cooperation between China and Canada on the utilization of the Northwest Passage should be based on mutual trust and initiated by scientific collaboration. Resources development and infrastructure improvement are pivot fields to boost cooperation, and a niche attached to resources along the Northwest Passage makes a crucial measure to promote the effective utilization of the Arctic waterways.

Abstract
Defense diplomacy means the diplomatic policy and actions taken by officials and think tanks affiliated to the Ministry of Defense, to enhance military and security trust and confidence between countries. It is very important for civilian officers to promote regional peace and stability by discussing and resolving hot issues of common concerns. In recent years, Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), establishing a series of multi-track defense exchange and communication mechanisms, has made rapid progress in defense diplomacy, which promoted the construction of its political and security community, and made important contributions to the establishment of ASEAN’s centrality in the regional security cooperation framework. Although China and ASEAN as well as
its member states have made positive progress in building bilateral and multilateral defense diplomacy, they are also confronted with some serious challenges. They need to strengthen coordination in the process of shaping common policy norms, making consistent agendas and selecting proper topics, so that the solid foundation of the China-ASEAN community with a shared future could be constructed.

Abstract
The national willingness, transferring value, and joint arrangements of technology transfer jointly determine the development trend of the commercialization of deepsea technology. However, the mechanism is prone to fail due to unfair commercial conditions for transferring, asymmetric transaction information, and ineffective arrangements of joint corporate. In order to realize the rational regulation of deepsea technology transfer in line with the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea, the following measures should be referred to meet the challenges: to make a balance between the intellectual property protection and the creation of reasonable business terms, to publicize transaction information concerning deepsea technology in a rational way, and to transfer deepsea technology within the joint enterprise effectively. At present, China should take the opportunity to participate in the development of the Regulations on Exploitation of Mineral Resources in the Area and actively promote relevant position and proposition to ensure that the international cooperation could achieve a fair share of the rights of deep seabed mineral resources.

Abstract
International shipping makes an important part of international relations, and maritime strength, structural power and institutional arrangement are three dimensions to explore the organic interaction between ocean shipping and international relations. Upon entering the postwar period, with structural power advantages and powerful maritime strength, the US established the dominant position in the field of international shipping. Specifically, convenient flag mode is the implemental path, container revolution is the technical support, and the establishment of the Intergovernmental Maritime Consultative Organization is the institutional framework. With the development of global trade and the framework evolution of economic globalization, international shipping has played a more prominent role in the international political and economic relations. Therefore, analyzing the dominant position of America in international shipping and its development will undoubtedly contribute to understanding the evolution of the international shipping order and the generation of shipping power.
